Atlanta blues musician Sandra Hall Wins a Jus' Blues Award

The legendary Ms. Sandra Hall, one of the finest female blues artists Atlanta has to offer, won Best Contemporary Blues Artist at The Jus' Blues Awards in Memphis August 5th. The nominees for this award are chosen by the Jus' Blues Selection Committee made up of industry professionals and fans. The public was then invited to vote. The Atlanta blues scene has eery reason to be proud that one of our own has won this prestigious and much-deserved award.

In an open letter on her website, Ms. Hall wrote,

"Hello my wonderful fans and friends,

I would like to thank all of you for all your support in voting for me in The Jus Blues Music Foundation Awards founder Mr. Charles Mitchell and I would like to thank the Jus Blues Music Awards for such a wonderful job they are doing in keeping the music in all categories alive.This is something we all need in the music world. I will continue to do my part as an entertainer.Thank you."

Other winners of the Jus' Blues Awards included Stevie J for Best Contemporary Male, Theodis Ealy for Outstanding Guitar , Player, and the Homemade Jamz Band for Most Popular Band/Combo.
