This is the 3rd Marty's:
Hard to believe, but the original Marty's opened in May 2000 and was located directly across the street from the main gate of Camp Casey in a little town called Tongduchon, South Korea ~ a two-hour drive north of Seoul and 30 minutes from the "DMZ."

"Marty's I" was actually built by a group of moonlighting U.S. soldiers. Camp Casey was the 2nd largest U.S. Army base in the Republic of Korea and was the home of 12,000 American tankers, artillery and infantry men and women. The 2nd Marty's opened when the Seoul subway expanded from Seoul to Tongduchon and the railroad tracks ended up going right through our building; so we built "Marty's II" across the street to continue our tradition of taking care of our U.S. soldiers.
