Union City, CA – EC’s Jook Joint...an award winning...locally produced...nationally distributed public television program featuring Blues music videos has partnered with the iconic San Francisco Bay Area television institution...KOFY-TV...for an 11 week run during the upcoming 2009 Holiday season.

EC’s Jook Joint will launch on Saturday...November 7th....@ 10:30PM. EC's Jook Joint is the first program of its kind...dedicated to the expansion and longevity of Blues music. Recent wins of both the Hometown Honorable Mention Award and the WAVE Award gives evidence that EC’s Jook Joint is poised to start a Blues revolution!

With four albums to her name, Scott has garnered critical acclaim from Rolling Stone ,Stereo Review, Blues Revue, Living Blues,and Downbeat , among others. Atlantic Records co-founder Jerry Wexler called her “one honest-to-God soul singer.”

In addition to her own music, Scott is passionate about keeping the Blues alive in the 21st Century. Her locally based production company, ECS Productions, produces EC’s Jook Joint, the only program of it’s kind dedicated solely to the unification, preservation and expansion of the Blues community.
