Sure to be the latest celebrity dining magnet on the Strip, B.B. King’s Blues Club celebrated its grand opening inside The Mirage Friday night.
The star-studded event, which was attended by everyone from Willie Nelson to B.B. King himself, featured an impromptu concert while guests dined on the restaurant’s spirited Southern dishes. Serving delicious Creole cuisine by Executive Chef Oscar Pena, B.B. King’s Blues Club offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night dining. Signature dishes include Fried Dill Pickles (a B.B. King’s tradition!), Southern Fried Catfish, Gumbo Ya Ya Straight from the Bayou and Banana Bread Pudding that’s baked to order. The venue features four bars, including one outdoors, and live music nightly from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. with B.B. King’s All-Star Band performing every Tue.-Sat. A cover charge applies nightly.
