Chicago bluesman Nick Moss and his amazing band the Flip Tops have hit the road in support of their recently-released Blue Bella Records album, Privileged. Fronted by Moss, with his soulful vocals and fiery guitarwork, the Flip Tops also feature a great multi-instrumentalist talent in Gerry Hundt. The result is that every Moss/Flip Tops show is a rockin' good time, Moss's vision of the Chicago blues style drawing plenty that's good from the music's traditions, while bringing new fire and heat to the sound. Given that the stage is the guitarist's home, and that the band has received a 2010 Blues Music Nomination as "Blues Band of the Year," it's worth your time to check 'em out when they come blowing through your hometown.
