We are a 501C3 organization incorporated in January 2006. We are commited to keeping the Blues alive in our area and across the country. The Paramount Records history in Grafton is really coming to light. The village has remodeled the entire downtown area to pay tribute to this history and the musicians that recorded in Grafton and those that recorded for Paramount Records. When you visit Grafton, be sure to stop downtown and see the walk of fame, the new fountain and visit the Paramount Restaurant!

This site is dedicated to Paramount Records and all the blues pioneers that recorded in Grafton, WI. We are raising funds to renovate the former Wisconsin Chair Factory location, bring "Blues in the Schools" programs to the local schools and to produce the annual Paramount Blues Festival. We will be hosting events all year! Stay tuned.....

Mission Statement

The mission of the Grafton Blues Association is to encourage community involvement by sponsoring and hosting events, including a diverse realm of blues musicians/performers/entertainers, educators, and historians. By promoting blues in the schools programs, we will nurture an appreciation and understanding of blues music in general, its historical influence and importance as a watershed of American popular music, and its relevance to the history of Paramount recordings made in Grafton WI
